MILWAUKEE - Laura Kaeppeler, the Kenosha resident who was recently crowned Miss America 2012, will be the featured guest at the Milwaukee Press Club’s Newsmaker Luncheon on Thursday, March 1, from 11:45 to 1:30 p.m. at the Newsroom Pub in downtown Milwaukee at 137 E. Wells Street.

Kaeppeler is a graduate of St. Joseph High School and Carthage College. She is the National Goodwill Ambassador for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. She intends to pursue a career in childhood advocacy law.

Kaeppeler will speak at the Newsmaker Luncheon and will answer questions from a panel of professional journalists.
