Annual City Birthday Party to Celebrate Milwaukee’s Status as a Big League City
Milwaukee Press Club Presents the Biggest Networking Event in the City January 31, 2012
Milwaukee…It doesn’t get any bigger than this! The Milwaukee Press Club is proud to celebrate the City of Milwaukee’s 166th birthday and its status as a Big League City. In addition to the championship performances of our professional and college sports teams, the City of Milwaukee boasts big league business, arts, non-profits and more. The Press Club also will be unveiling the Big League City MVP Contest that will lead up to the annual City of Milwaukee Birthday Party, to be held January 31, 2012 at the Grain Exchange at 225 E. Michigan St. in Milwaukee from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Attendees will enjoy food, a cash bar, big league networking, a memento of the evening and more.
Each year, the annual City Birthday Party brings together the “best of the bigs” from Milwaukee - more than 500 movers, shakers and newsmakers from the southeastern Wisconsin region annually join Mayor Barrett, members of the Milwaukee Common Council, and the Milwaukee Press Club to start the new year on a positive note. It’s annually called one of the top networking events in the city, and is considered a “must attend” among many local business and community leaders.
