Press Club Leaks Inside Scoop on New Website

The Milwaukee Press Club’s mascot, the sacred cat, today leaked news of the organization’s updated and enhanced website. Designed for use by the media and communications professionals, the new site provides a robust clearinghouse of information on Wisconsin media and on events sponsored by the oldest continuously operating press club in North America.

Among the site’s enhanced features are:

• A “Latest” section with updates on news and events.
• An events calendar showing who plans to attend an event.
• Social media integration.
• Photos viewable in a gallery on the site.
• A membership directory accessible by members who’ve registered to login.

The site was developed by T1 Media, LLC on a new foundation that allows staff updates and future enhancements. 

The Milwaukee Press Club is a membership organization which has served members of the Milwaukee-area news media since 1885.  The Press Club’s eventsinclude the annual City of Milwaukee Birthday Party, the Gridiron Awards Dinner, the Hall of Fame Dinner as well as Meet the Media.  The Club also sponsors the Newsmaker Luncheon series where area leaders address current issues under the questioning of a panel of journalists.
