Milwaukee Press Club Seeks Leadership Gifts to Support Media Hall of Fame Event

Each year, the Milwaukee Press Club recognizes the service and commitment of individuals whose distinguished journalism careers have impacted our community. This year's Milwaukee Media Hall of Fame Dinner will be held Friday, Oct. 23, at Potawatomi Bingo Casino in the Woodland Dreams Ballroom. You will receive an invitation in mid-September and we hope you will join us for this special event.

The following professionals will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009:

Once again, we are reaching out to Milwaukee Press Club members and friends to ask you for your support through Leadership Gifts in honor of the Hall of Fame inductees.  We are hoping you will consider a Leadership Gift of $100.  Your generous response goes directly to the MPC Endowment Ltd., the charitable arm of the Press Club, to support scholarships and press club programs to promote excellence in journalism.  Your support helps us to better celebrate our honorees and recognize the underlying values of the Club such as editorial craftsmanship, integrity and trust.

Your leadership gift can recognize another journalist - either one of this year's Hall of Fame inductees or any other journalist or mentor who influenced your career. Leadership givers (and any person they name for recognition) will be listed in this year's Hall of Fame Dinner program as well as in an upcoming Cat Tales article. Leadership Gifts sponsors whose reply is received by Wednesday, Sept. 3, will also be listed in the invitation. All gifts to the MPC Endowment, a 501(c)(3) organization, are tax deductible.

Please help us to support the Milwaukee Press Club and this important event with your Leadership Gift by following this link to the donor form at www.milwaukeepressclub.org/files/2009-leadership-gift.pdfReturn the completed form by Wednesday, Sept. 3.  (Gifts will be accepted after that date, but the donors will not be listed on our invitation.) For more information, contact Joette Richards at (262) 894-2224 or milwaukeepressclub@gmail.com.  We hope you will join us for this special event in October
